A New Adventure

The McClearys are loading up and heading south to Dallas, Texas.

I'm starting this blog for the sole purpose to keep family and friends up to date on the McCleary Family. With our move, many people have requested updates on all 5 of us. I figure one of the easiest ways to do that is through a blog. This will allow people to control their "dosage" of McCleary updates. Plus, I can write something one time and share with many, but without clogging up news feeds on Facebook.

Let me begin by saying we never planned to leave West Lafayette, Indiana. We love our town and the friends we have here. This is a very bittersweet time. However, we believe this is the best decision so we can avoid a future move at a later date with the company. Plus, this will allow for lots of career opportunities for both Kevin and me.

The past couple of days have been pretty tough. The end of the school year brought a lot of final goodbyes to friends and teachers. I do think some of it was harder on me and Kev since we really understand the finality of this situation. So lots of hard moments of me fighting back tears as my little guys said goodbye to some very important people.

But instead of going on, let me just share some photos.

Last day of PreK for Jason

4th Grade Musical - Luke was a chipmunk... in a toga

Maxwell made notes for 4 of his special teachers.

4th Grade Field Day - I had a blast helping out with Luke's fun day!

Maxwell received a Presidential Fitness Award and he was a Sunshine Award winner, too. Some might remember that Luke also received the Sunshine Award his 1st grade year.

Luke was honored at Awards Day, too.

Jason received a special gift from his teachers.

One very special and amazing 1st grade teacher!

I have photos of some other special people that I will share after I download them from my camera. Until then, here is a random photo of my boys.
